squidf 0 Posted ... Hi I just packaged Eddie-ui for Mageia Linux and it works very well with Wireguard protocol. There are other posts discussing the issues with openVPN. One more issue is the lack of tray icons, despite I have selected "Minimize in tray" in the Menu. It is the same behavior between Eddie 2.21.8 and 2.22.2. Same issue under Plasma 5.20.4 and 5.26.4, and Cinnamon 4.8.3 When I launch eddie-ui from a terminal, I get the following messages: /usr/lib64/eddie-ui/eddie-tray: /usr/lib64/eddie-ui/eddie-tray: no version information available (required by /usr/lib64/eddie-ui/eddie-tray) /usr/lib64/eddie-ui/eddie-tray: symbol lookup error: /usr/lib64/eddie-ui/eddie-tray: undefined symbol: , version Could it be related? Could it be something is missing when I build it? Or a dependence? Thanks! Quote Share this post Link to post

OpenSourcerer 1447 Posted ... Do these packages include headers for building? There are numerous distributions where development headers must be installed separately; not sure about Mageia here. The packages listed above are the ones installed as installation dependencies, required by Eddie when installing. -devel packages with the headers are usually not required when the package is already built. I will test with it though to make sure. Quote Share this post Link to post
