Eddie problems when i close marketing msg

What am i doing wrong 
 
win10 - 64bit - works everyday except today
i logon - the msg 'renew at 65% off' comes up
i close it, and the Eddie screen closes 
i try to open a new Eddie screen - it won't open because 1 is running
i try to open the existing instance of Eddie - can't see any servers.
what is my workaround?

Ctrl+Alt+Delete open Task Manager and End the invisible Eddie/AirVpn entry(s) then re-open AirVPN.

thanks - also they fixed whatever bug they had for a few hours yesterday.
