Port Forwarding

Hi,

I am running a small Ubuntu Server in my home network (ASUS RT-AX88U router) which I'd like to expose to the public ( webserver & ssh access ) behind AirVPN.

The Server is running is running on 192.168.50.XXX and I can access the web server just fine under my defined default server port (8080), however what's the best practice to expose it to the public now?

I have tried following this guide:However, I am still not able to connect to my service from outside my network. Any ideas? 😕

Your messages make it ambiguous: Does the router connect to AirVPN, or Ubuntu Server?
