Block on checking route IPV4

Today my internet provider Linkem (Italy) replaced the modem with a recent model. However now I can't connect to the vpn. I navigate normally, but when I try to connect using the Eddie program, it hangs while connecting at the "Checking Route IPV4" phase. The program crashes and also the network is completely absent on the PC in use, but functional on other computers. I found that the problem can be circumvented by the Eddie program from the "Advance" window and by unchecking the "Check if the tunnel works" option. However, it seems to me an unsafe solution. Please can help me to solve the problem?

Hi. It looks like a firewall issue, similar to what I have faced recently.
Would your router include its own firewall by any chance?
My ISP has included this feature, for instance.
