ClitFiddler 0 Posted ... (edited) Using "Config Generator" (Client Area) - via Firefox or Chromium - When trying to use "Advanced Mode" to generate many Linux config files at once - For example, each continent, each country, > 100 individual servers, and most available ports (both UDP and TCP) - I get an error - something like, " We're sorry- our tubes are clogged up" Does Config Generator just choke when trying to generate thousands of files in one go? Thank you. Edited ... by ClitFiddler IPv4 only Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... Cannot reproduce. Generation of configs for all ports of IP 1 and all servers plus all countries (which easily amounts to multiple thousand configs) went well on my side. Zipping worked as well. Just how many ports did you select, I wonder? Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. ClitFiddler 0 Posted ... (edited) How any ports did I select (on August 30)? Most of the non-SSH, non-SSL ports. I just tried again - selecting IPv4 only, 25 port/protocol choices, each continent, every country, all individual servers except those with current red/yellow warnings. This time I got to the screen showing the list of individual files, where asked format for download (tar.gz, zip, etc). Choosing 'zip' brings me to the same error page, as it has several times over the last year when trying to generate hundreds of config files at once - " "We’re sorry, our tubes are clogged up. We’re working to deliver more tubes on a bigger truck and solve the problem." Then, I re-retried with the same options except instead of most individual servers, I selected (only) each USA and Canada server --> Success. The error message is self-expantory, sort of; ..." ... our tubes are clogged up..." The Config Generator seems to choke (for me) when trying to make it do too much in one go - or something like that. Again, cannot reproduce. Please try generating it with another browser or another device. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER.
