ios 16 and openvpn config import (not possible)

with the release of (beta) ios 16, i cant stop myself from using it.
and with the the openVPN connect app installed on my iPhone 13 pro and even though i emailed the config files made using the generator there is NO way to import them into openvpn. the share menu does NOT show openvpn at all.

i have decided to use wireguard using it with the QR code which seems to work great 
but still. with openvpn is this an issue due to ios 16?

It's a beta, no? I'd expect neither the OS nor OpenVPN to work properly.
