Wordpress/Wordfence blocking Indus IP

Recommended Posts

As I am currently using an open wifi service on (sadly) a windows 11 machine, I have no idea if this is on my end, but thought it important enough to let you know.
I filed report to WP and received the attached in response. Thanks.

I do not believe this to be a false positive. It's unavoidable that someone uses proxied connections to carry out attacks. It's even a necessity to remain hidden for as long as possible. Any kind of proxies like acutal proxy servers, VPNs or even compromised devices with an internet connection will do.
Though, using paid VPNs is tricky because you'd have to… well, pay, and therefore make noise, and you'd want to remain as quiet as possible.

In any case, this answer is much more polite and thorough than an average answer about these things. But you will not get anywhere with your report, I'm afraid.
