Hello community.  I have increasingly seen VPN advertising DNS based ad-blocking services alongside their mostly mobile VPN offerings.  Would not downloading a blocklist be sufficient to accomplish this task?  As often its only basic ad-blocking in my testings.   As I have noticed airvpn has stayed rock solid with its design and has not adopted these so called features.  Thank you for your time.

Check out this thread:
AirVPN already has this feature, but it's not enabled by default. You can choose different blocking lists in the account page.
