Massive speed drop in newer versions on linux

Hello, my english is not very good so I'll let the screenshots talk by themselves. They are taken in a span of 10 mins with exactly the same config.

The effects:
2.20.0 Works mostly flawless and I can get almost my max download speed (about 240 mbps) in some servers.
2.21.x The ping is atrocious and I can barely get 10-20 mbps in most cases.

I'm on Manjaro (Arch-based linux distro) and the screenshots are from the official packages downloaded here. But I have exactly the same problem with the aur package eddie-ui which is currently at 2.21.8 version.

Any idea what could be the problem? Thank you.

Known problem, no workarounds yet since the dev can't reproduce it.
