Eddie not working Win10 since 4 days ago

Eddie starts then closes without a window opening .....happening even with latest download from today.
running windows 10 64 bit
when i try to open a 2nd time (while first version is running in the background) i get unable to start msg or it hangs with this msg

This is very recent and somewhat related:Currently no idea from what angle to start the troubleshooting. Maybe others will chime in, too.
