Eddie-ui -cli doesn't remember credentials

I'm on latest kali using the latest eddie-ui. I want to use it in -cli mode but it doesn't remember my credentials even after using the -remember option. 
here's what i run : 

Quote

sudo eddie-ui -cli -login=<mylogin> -password=<mypasswd> -remember=true -connect -netlock

It connects but then when i shut down the connection and try again with just 

Quote

sudo eddie-ui -cli -connect -netlock

 it asks me to use -login and -password .

I can add that with the GUI version of the client, it remembers my credentials when i check the box. But even after that the cli version asks me login and password.
