Routing certain traffic outside VPN not working

Hi,
I'm running Eddie version 2.2.0 on Ubuntu 20 and would like to route certain traffic (traffic to opensubtitles.org) outside of the vpn tunnel.
I confugured Eddie to route the traffic to the ip addresses where opensubtitles.org is resolving outside of the VPN but the setting seems to be ignored. A tracepath shows the traffic still being routed over the VPN.
Any idea why it's not working?

I get six IP addresses for opensubtitles.org, three for each version.

Yes, all 6 are configured in eddie to be outside of the tunnel.
But as I wrote this is ignored.

While connected, post the output of:

# iptables -L -t nat

.
