GoetzPhilippinen 2 Posted ... I just started Eddie on both my M1 iMac and my Win10 PC and now I wonder why PING is so different. You need to know that my PC and my M1 iMac are connected to the same switch with goes to the same internet router. Maybe someone can explain why theres this huge difference? Is that the M1 iMac running Eddie as a Rosetta2 application? Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1441 Posted ... Your comparison doesn't check out because you are connected to the VPN. On Windows, you're likely using TAP with a history of, let's call it, slowdowns. On macOS you presumably have got the tun kernel module which is more performant on anything Unix-like. Also, you're not connected to the same server. You should retry the comparison while not being connected. The results will be much, much closer to each other. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. GoetzPhilippinen 2 Posted ... Is there a beter setting to get a lower PING on Mac OSX? The last 2 weeks before I coannect to a server all values are usually 90ms and more, but I never see anything like 40-50ms anymore. Quote Share this post Link to post
