Veep Peep 13 Posted ... Hello, When Eddie is up I see my ip as the server location I have connected to. I disconnected Eddie and terminated the application on Windows 10. But I am still connected to the internet - now showing my carrier IP and geo located to my city. In the past when I did this - I had no internet at all. Why am I now still connected to the internet after Eddie is closed? I have Activate Network Lock at Startup checked off. Thoughts? Thanks, V Quote Share this post Link to post

It was an Eddie bug in the past where NetLock wouldn't be disabled when Eddie was terminated. It never was intended for any firewall rules to survive Eddie's termination, NetLock is a feature more or less strictly bound to when Eddie is running (as it is an Eddie feature to begin with). Interesting fact, though, is that you're far from being the only one who was wondering about it in the past. People grew accustomed to this bug so much that they started seeing it as a feature. Maybe it should be an option? Not for me to decide. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT. Veep Peep 13 Posted ... @OpenSourcerer Thanks for the feedback. Any idea if this weill be fixed? While Eddie is running, is my traffic 100% routed through the AV servers, or are there leaks? Keeping the firewall rules could be considered a feature request, though, but not to me, I don't partake in Eddie development. 20 hours ago, Veep Peep said: While Eddie is running, is my traffic 100% routed through the AV servers, or are there leaks? Finding this out is not our job. But if you use NetLock, there shouldn't be any. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER.
