Airvpn suite not properly restoring network

Hi,

The airvpn suite looks very promising but unfortunately it has been unsuccessful in restoring my network settings after disconnecting 100% of the time. I feel like it could be a DNS issue but I'm not sure. I can't connect to any website atleast. I can fix this by going into the settings and turning the wifi off and on again. After wifi reconnects, internet works again and I can start browsing again.

I'm the type of user that adds my username and password into the goldcrest.rc file for convenience. I really like the fact that I can just type "goldcrest -O" in the terminal and it just works. Shame that disconnecting isn't as easy.

For the record, I've tried both the latest stable and beta version of the suite. My distro of choice is Pop!_OS. Any ideas?
