I think I remember something like this from the past, yes. Not really a shame, though; EBK is a popular target for the not so honest buyers and sellers; VPNs make their life easier.

The usage of eBay Kleinanzeigen doesn't make a lot of sense anonymously.
Anyway, for cases like this I use the App 'Every Proxy' on Android, configured with FoxyProxy in Firefox to only bypass AirVPN that way in Whitelist-cases like ebay-kleinanzeigen.de. Maybe that's a way you'd like to think about.

I don't use it on my phone, only on my PC. (Meaning, I don't have a VPN on my phone, so access there is possible but I prefer to type on a physical keyboard)

How can I make this exception on my PC with Eddie?
Sometimes I want to browse anonymously *while* simultaneously answering something on Kleinanzeigen (this does not have to be anonymous of course, if I know how to whitelist it, I would)

Add all possible IPs ebay-kleinanzeigen.de resolves to as exceptions. In Eddie in Preferences > Routes, in vanilla OpenVPN via multiple route directives, one for each IP (or simply the whole network, depends).

route <IP> <netmask> net_gateway

Don't know if there's need to adjust this to reality, but anyway: Keep in mind that by doing that eBay Kleinanzeigen will be routed outside the tunnel, i.e., access with your ISP IP. Everything else remains inside, though.
