Network Lock + Remote Desktop on custom port

Windows 10 + Eddie VPN 

HI there, I want to use the AirVPN Kill Switch (Network Lock) on Windows 10 with the Eddie software. It's so good, it even blocks my RDP session.
Is there a way to allow a RDP connection? I'd be happy to limit the RDP connection to a specific source port (my static home IP) to reduce attack surface...

You need to route the IP of the RDP host outside the tunnel, then you're golden
Unless you want to RDP into a host connecting to AirVPN, then it gets wild because your external IP changes when you connect from different hosts, of course. I don't have an easy answer in this case.
