Android 10 - Eddie on both main and work profiles ?

Hi,
I am using shelter to separate my apps and Eddie is running in the main profile, I've always assumed the apps running in the work profile would also use the VPN but it's actually not the case.
Is there some way to have Eddie active device wide, on both profiles ? Maybe via some change on Eddie Android ?

Looks like that app uses the Android work profile feature to create an isolated, sandboxed environment for apps. That's quite cool, and is a more or less advanced feature built for companies. From what I read on the docs, all Android API calls seem to be isolated, too, and since VPNService is also an API, it will be isolated as well. With this in mind, what you want to achieve doesn't seem to be possible and would also be unwanted because the feature is designed as a sandbox. I could be wrong, but that's what I gather.

You might be lucky in finding a Magisk module enabling a traversal of this feature for specified API calls or apps. This will definitely require root, though.

Thank you for your answer, indeed it took me too long to realize it was a feature and done on purpose.
Tried to run 2 Eddie it seems to be working, hopefully it won't have too much impact on the battery.
