Need more Transparency

Hi,
I would like to see more transparency with regard to staff, maybe list them out like IVPN. I would also like to see the service gets independently audited, again for transparency. Thank you!

1. What's the disadvantage of bringing the spotlight to the staff? Would that have a cost on safety/security?
2. How much an independently audited would impact the cost of this service?

If staff are honestly disclosed by IRL names, it might paint a target on their backs.
If they are not honestly disclosed, who would even notice?
What do users gain by this level of "transparency"?  Do you know all of the people who designed your software and hardware by first name basis?  I sure don't.
