Anarchy-X 1 Posted ... For weeks now across multiple OSes, machines, and ISPs, I cannot connect with the OpenVPN GUI (I think sometimes the GNU/Linux CLI works), network manager, or Eddie. It gets stuck with either 161 or 141 tests to go. The log doesn't seem to be telling me much of anything. Quote Share this post Link to post

So write them to a file and upload them here. It's better than pasting all of them here because I'm about to ask you for those logs from start to end. So please provide logs from connection attempts with: OpenVPN GUI OpenVPN CLI networkmanager Additionally, try a connection with Eddie, then click on the lifebelt icon in Logs tab and write that to file. Do not copy the logs in the text field left of it, the OpenVPN logs are in the support file as well. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. Anarchy-X 1 Posted ... I don't see any "lifebelt". I see the [Logs] with the cogwheels in the leftnav menu. . 2021.01.15 23:14:47 - Eddie version: 2.18.9 / windows_x64, System: Windows, Name: Windows 7 Ultimate, Version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1, Mono/.Net: v4.0.30319 . 2021.01.15 23:14:48 - Command line arguments (1): path="home" . 2021.01.15 23:14:48 - Profile path: C:\Users\X\AppData\Local\Eddie\default.profile . 2021.01.15 23:14:49 - Reading options from C:\Users\X\AppData\Local\Eddie\default.profile . 2021.01.15 23:14:50 - Tun Driver - 0901: 9.24.6; wintun: 0.8 . 2021.01.15 23:14:50 - OpenVPN - Version: 2.4.8 - OpenSSL 1.1.0l 10 Sep 2019, LZO 2.10 (C:\Program Files\AirVPN\openvpn.exe) . 2021.01.15 23:14:50 - SSH - Version: plink 0.67 (C:\Program Files\AirVPN\plink.exe) . 2021.01.15 23:14:50 - SSL - Version: stunnel 5.40 (C:\Program Files\AirVPN\stunnel.exe) . 2021.01.15 23:14:50 - curl - Version: 7.68.0 (C:\Program Files\AirVPN\curl.exe) I 2021.01.15 23:14:52 - Ready . 2021.01.15 23:14:54 - Collect information about AirVPN completed I 2021.01.15 23:15:08 - Session starting. . 2021.01.15 23:15:08 - Waiting for latency tests (191 to go) . 2021.01.15 23:15:36 - Waiting for latency tests (166 to go) . 2021.01.15 23:15:42 - Waiting for latency tests (141 to go) . 2021.01.15 23:44:56 - Collect information about AirVPN completed --- Eddie System/Environment Report - 1/16/2021 - Eddie version: 2.18.9 Eddie OS build: linux_x64 Eddie architecture: x64 OS type: Linux OS name: Ubuntu 20.10 \n \l OS version: Linux 5.8.0-38-lowlatency #43-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT ... 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux OS architecture: x64 Mono /.Net Framework: 6.8.0.105 (Debian 6.8.0.105+dfsg-3 ... 2020); Framework: v4.0.30319 TUN driver: /dev/net/tun OpenVPN: 2.4.9 - OpenSSL 1.1.1f 31 Mar 2020, LZO 2.10 (/usr/sbin/openvpn) Hummingbird: 3.3.2 - Hummingbird - AirVPN OpenVPN 3 Client 1.1.0 - 23 June 2020 (/usr/local/bin/hummingbird) SSH: OpenSSH_8.3p1 Ubuntu-1, OpenSSL 1.1.1f (/usr/bin/ssh) SSL: stunnel 5.56 (/usr/bin/stunnel4) curl: 7.68.0 (/usr/bin/curl) Profile path: /home/X/.config/eddie/default.profile Data path: /home/X/.config/eddie Application path: /usr/lib/eddie-ui Executable path: /usr/lib/eddie-ui/eddie-ui.exe Command line arguments: (2 args) path.resources="/usr/share/eddie-ui" path.exec="/usr/bin/eddie-ui" Network Lock Active: No Connected to VPN: No Detected DNS: 127.0.0.53 Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1450 Posted ... Please read again the instructions. Try a connection first, and paste all of the output when clicking on the lifebelt icon into a file. Right now both connection logs and network configuration is missing as well as the attempts with other OpenVPN clients you mentioned. Thank you. Anarchy-X 1 Posted ... Ohh, the floaty looking thing. Yeah, I clicked that, waited a good half hour and that's all I got. Anyway, I'm not sure how much it matters. I just installed the AirVPN Suite on one of my laptops and connected right away with Goldcrest. I'll try uninstalling Eddie etc and installing this on my other machines and comment if everything worked out smoothly or not. Quote Share this post Link to post
