Quick question about being connected to another country

When I'm connected to a server in Canada and I'm doing a search in Google for a product, my first results from Google are amazon.ca items.

Is this just a minor annoyance that we have to live with or is there a way to circumvent this?

Oh, it seems this doesn't work any more! Interesting. So the only way could be an extension, then. Not sure they still work, either.

I'm in Pennsylvania and am connected to Sharatan in Toronto. When I search for an item in the regular Google search bar that I'm interested in buying, the first results are almost always amazon.ca. It's also just now occurring to me that for the last few days when I would go to a shopping site that I'd never been to before the values would be in CAD$, not US$. What I've been doing is copying the name of the item I want from amazon.ca and opening my smile.amazon.com page and searching for it there.

Speaking of which, when I go to RARBG's home page, https://rarbg.to/index80.php I get their home page. However, when go to their Torrents page, something else happens entirely. 

I'm taken to https://rarbg.to/threat_defence.php?defence=1&r=28487055 and the page says

Can this be avoided?

The thing I striked through in my post – google.com/ncr (which was Google's No Country Redirect mechanism).

Try a clean browser (profile), one without any addons. Or it could be possible reason 4 and you just have to roll with it.
