Did you invest any of your time looking at the comments before posting, or were you so aroused by this as to post this FUD question? No offense, but please; half of them give the exact reason: WebRTC.
If you use Eddie with Network Lock on, you're good to go regardless of what browser you use. If not, one option is to disable it. It's easiest on Firefox via about:config (flip the key media.peerconnection.enabled), and can be blocked with extensions on Chrome/Edge. Not sure about Opera and Safari.

I'm quite close to locking this because it's a very good entry into a pointless conspiracy discussion. Should this become such a discussion, no need to wonder why it's suddenly locked, or even removed completely. Mind your steps, people.
