OpenVPN accepts domain names in some places, but they are resolved to IP addresses in the process and reflect only the results at connection time. Some wrappers like qomui can do application-based routing, thanks to the features of Linux. On Android selecting apps for blacklists or whitelists is even native behavior in the context of the VPNService API used. All other OSes are out of luck at this point, I'm afraid. Would it be possible to grab the IP of a game server (MMO) using Resource monitor and let that go outside of the tunnel or will the servers change over time? Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... Possible, yes, but you will have the same problem as everyone trying to unblock a streaming service: A cluster of a MMO game has got many different IPs in different regions for load balancing, throughput optimization and latency reduction, which can change any second. You will be playing a cat and mouse game setting one IP outside the tunnel, then another, then another. Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER.
