Hummingbird, LXC, Ubuntu 18.04, network lock issue

Hey everyone,
I'm working on setting on hummingbird on my lxc ubuntu 18.04 container, and was running into an issue where I can't run it with network log enabled (systemd-resolved is running on this system and may interfere with DNS management and cause DNS leaks). I've tried finding some documentation or learning more but haven't gotten anywhere today.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Its the first step in trying to hack together hummingbird as a service because openvpn downloads speeds seem pretty slow.

Network Lock has nothing to do with DNS. The former is just a bunch of firewall rules.
