When network lock enabled cannot connect when vpn is working

Hi,  I was always able to access the internet through the vpn after first enabling the network lock and now I can't.  I can access through the vpn if the network lock is not disabled first but then if the vpn disconnects I'm exposed because the network lock isn't disabled.  What am I missing.  I want to have the network lock enabled whenever the vpn is down but that doesn't seem to be an option.  TIA

This statement actually matches exactly what NetLock is supposed to do: If you're not connected, nothing on the computer should be able to communicate. Except for that "exposed" part which is illogical in this context.

Of course it's an option. What is not one is to have NetLock enabled when you close Eddie; it disables NetLock on termination, and this is intended.
