BKK20 0 Posted ... Hey AirVPN community, My configuration is following: First, a DSL Router for internet and behind the DSL Router an Asus Router which is connected via WAN port with the DSL Router. The Asus Router is used for VPN connection via AirVPN. Now, I want to forward a port on my Asus router that I have access to a device from my DSL Router LAN to my Asus router LAN. The port I want to open is another port as the remote/local ports which have been open over AirVPN connection. I read that it could be a correlation or security problem if I use a port Forwarding function outside the AirVPN port forwarding settings. Please could you help me, if I can do it without any security limitations? Thank you Share this post Link to post

Only if you open the same port on your DSL router, as in, forward port 9000 on AirVPN to local 9000 on Asus and then forward the same port 9000 on the DSL router to the same port 9000 on Asus. If you use different ports, it's all clear. Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT.
