Steam: port forwarding (27015)

Hi.

I have a specific  question regarding port forwarding for the online game provider "Steam". They recommend that port 27015 (amongst several others) be port forwarded.

Obviously, having 6M+ online players means that I can't grab this port from the AirVPN pool as it's long gone. So how do I go about this? This must be a common problem for providers with fixed client/server port requirements.

FYI, my VPN runs from my router not my computer. Note, I have used AirVPN port forwarding very successfully for my torrent clients where the external port can be anything!

And you are right with this, for those offering port forwarding at least.
