microsoft.com gives me a dubious suggestion

I was just about to deactivate my old device before selling it. So after cleaning the hdd and stuff, I was going to disconnect the device from my Microsoft-account to re-use it on another device later.
What I've seen at https://account.microsoft.com/devices/# after selecting the device looks quite suspicious to me: It recommends me to activate BitLocker on my partitions - with a quick overview about capacity, usage, etc.
How do I block this kind of 'care'?

You login to Microsoft and are surprised by this? I don't think you can.
