Hi
For the last week or so I have been getting frequent disconnects although Eddie still shows connected.  I have tried using different servers without success.  Latest log attached.  Any help appreciated, thanks.

It's insufficient. Please upload a support file instead. Connect, and when it happens, click on the lifebelt icon in Logs tab. We need its output. :)

@Madflave Don't really care in this topic. Stop the hijacking.
Open a new one and give as much info as possible, please, also with a log or Eddie support file, what you tried doing, etc.

Hi.  Thanks for the directions supplied.  Unfortunately after clicking on the lifebelt the application starts then freezes so I am unable to supply the information required.  Following this I am unable to close eddie and have to re-start the PC.

Hi.  I have updated to the newest version and tried various servers all with the original problem persisting. I still cannot get  any output from using the 'lifebelt' it still freezes as my post above.  I have another log file but I'm assuming that will not provide the information you require.  Thanks.

Okay, it seems to freeze between the DNS detection and v4/v6 connection tests. Couple ideas:

  • Maybe something in the .NET framework does a hiccup? Is it possible to reinstall/update to the latest .NET for Win10 which is 4.8? Even if it came with a Windows update in May 2019, but you never know, it's Windows, after all. :D
  • Any firewalls/security software other than Defender running?
