connection from china is extremely slow in the evening

Hi.
I'm connecting from China, the normal speed is about 10mb/s ~ 15mb/s without a vpn, when use airvpn, I can get full speed in the morning, the speed continue dropping later, and in the evening(from UTC 10am) it becomes extrmely slow that I only get 100kb/s ~ 200kb/s.
I have tried servers from America, Canada,  Germany, Japan, Singapore but the results are similar.

 I wonder if it's because the China GFW or I have misconfigured something? Has anyone in China faced the same issue?

A log, or Eddie's system report accessible through the lifebelt icon in the Logs tab, would help without asking many questions about your setup.

Hm. Seems okay so far. One thing, though:
 

mode.alt: 2

You could try using alternative IP address 3 or 4. This way you use tls-crypt which makes OpenVPN detection more difficult and might help with your problem. Also, an upgrade to 2.18.x beta can be tried, though that's less likely to raise throughput. If that doesn't work, either a deeper look is required or it's really the GFW.
