ANSWERED Eddie fails at checking IPv4 route

Recommended Posts

Posted ... (edited)

It's been about a month since I last used AirVPN but now I can't establish a session.  Eddie fails at the "checking IPv4 route" stage, falls back and retries other servers in my country whitelist, and fails with each in the same manner.  I've changed ISP in the interim but my work VPNs still function normally, so I don't think it's ISP-related.  Advice appreciated.

Eddie 2.16.3, Kubuntu 18.04 LTS OS

Edit:  Log shows the following relevant (?) message:

. 2020.01.09 09:16:03 - Flushing DNS
I 2020.01.09 09:16:04 - Checking route IPv4
. 2020.01.09 09:16:24 - curl: (28) Operation timed out after 20000 milliseconds with 0 out of 0 bytes received

Should've asked for the support file right away because it contains all this plus more info on your setup. My mistake.
But can you please do that? Click the lifebelt icon in the Logs tab. Thank you!

RESOLVED

Had to de-select Automatic Port Selection and manually set to 1194.  Perhaps upstream policy changes with my ISP have occurred.  But it's working now.  Thanks @giganerd for taking an interest.
