AirVpn + Linux VDS (disconnected me from VDS, when i turn on AirVpn)

I have been using Air VPN for Windows for a very long time. The scheme is as follows:

my computer -> ... RDP ... -> windows vps (tor + air vpn).

Now I decided that I want to do the same thing with Linux, that is:

my computer -> ... RDP ... -> Linux vps (tor + air vpn).

But here 2 problems surfaced, firstly, when I am connected to the Linux server via the RDP or VNC and including Air VPN, it disconnects me from the Linux server because the network card is changing. How can I use VPN on a Linux server, but that would not disconnect me from the Linux server?

The second problem is the use of Network Lock. When I turn on the network, it also kicks me out of the Linux server, no matter how I configure it. + The fact is that I have a dynamic IP and I can not add it to the exceptions in the Network Lock settings.

I wouldn't recommend either of those for connecting to a Linux host. RDP is a Microsoft technology, and VNC is unsecured. I'd even go as far as saying that a desktop environment simply doesn't belong on a Linux server, one because it's "not natural" and two because X11 is… complicated, security-wise. Windows is not Linux, after all, and there are people who like to think of Linux as a "replacement" of Windows which is not true.
Also I think a server with certain services for other ("random") clients to use shouldn't be forced through a VPN, especially one like AirVPN where the first 1023 ports are not open for forwarding.

Can you elaborate on what exactly happens there? OpenVPN doesn't do anything like it. On Linux it adds a new interface and with AirVPN's config it configures it to be used for all traffic first.
It sounds a bit like you are still trying to connect to the server's "real" IP, though. Try the AirVPN exit IP, and don't forget to forward the RDP/VNC port here.
