Alvar Hanso 0 Posted ... Hi, Can someone tell me the addresses of the DNS servers where airdns updates are sent when a connection with a configured port forward and a ddns name is made? Since it takes an hour to propagate this name to all servers I would like to query these servers right away and get the current IP immediately instead of having to wait for this info to propagate. All DDNS names are reachable with all forwarded ports, that's why you get shown the warning that DDNS does not work in full with multiple connections. It still looks like this because it's "legacy code" when only one concurrent connection was possible. Quote Can someone tell me the addresses of the DNS servers where airdns updates are sent Nowhere. DNS Propagation is a passive process which involves storing records received by querying a DNS server in a cache. And until that cache runs out of its time to live, the DNS client accessing that cache will not requery the records to keep the stress on DNS servers everywhere low.
