ANSWERED How are servers selected using the ovpn config files?

I tend to use AirVPN using the ovpn config files. If i create a config file based on continent, how will the server be selected? by speed, latency, usage, etc?

AFAIK It will resolve a dns entriy which points to the least used server in that country/continent.

The respective DNS entry will be updated every five minutes with the best server in terms of current throughput, latency, client count, etc., so yeah, basically your "speed, latency, usage" parameters.
The actual algorithm is not documented, unfortunately.
