vKbhiNrgQuBS 0 Posted ... Hey, I am using AirVPN and a RT-AX88U. Everything is working smooth and fine, but what is the easiest way to get a new IP assigned each X hours? For now I always restart the VPN feature in the router panel. Quote Share this post Link to post

Just trying to avoid certain patterns If you change your server every x hours, that's more of a pattern than you connecting at random times to random servers. Reconnects do noise in networks. Also keep in mind that you can only have as many IP addresses assigned as there are AirVPN servers because their IPs are all shared and static. Also, if you really want that level of anonymity, a VPN is not the perfect fit for you, nor is it the cheapest. Tor is more suitable for your use case, because the whole concept is built around randomization, and every ~10 minutes even. But you probably overkill by quite a fair amount unless your opinion and what you search the internet for is a no-go in your country. I propose that your paranoia is to be destroyed.
