routeninja 23 Posted ... Hello! I am often on a network that I do not own nor control. I would like to be able to use VLC to stream content on the internet. Is there any way that I can do that with Air? I just want it to be encrypted to the network admins for the network I am on. I was thinking a proxy, but I dont think that encrypts the data. Is there a way to accomplish this without establishing a system wide VPN? I thought about maybe doing a proxy to my house over SSH. Maybe that would work? Quote Share this post Link to post

Why don't you use EMBY or Serviio for streaming from your in-house PC/server? At home I assume you have the ability to/can install EMBY Plex or Serviio etc. At work you have at least access/able to use a browser. yourserverddns.airdns.org:port forwarded.
