Getting Notification With Avast That Router is Infected.

Hello Friends,

Is it possible for a router to get infected? Avast is displaying a notification from time to time. Is it a adware or a real threat? Do let me know your thoughts.

This is NOT Avast support forum. Contact Avast or switch to a different one e.g. Comodo

If you get that notification while AirVPN connected. Post the notification you get. and on what device

I was able to get my issue fixed following the steps here. Thanks Guys.

It could be a false positive caused by Avast not being able to properly fingerprint the router with its third-party firmware load, but that's was in my case
