Password in Plain Text on Windows 10

Hello All,

I am a new AirVPN user running Windows 10 who just signed up for the service today. As I was setting up the Eddie client I noticed AirVPN saves some info locally as xml files.

Using Notepad I opened up the default.xml, located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AirVPN\ and was surprised to see my AirVPN password in plain text!

Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes. If you're concerned, don't save your credentials. On Linux this is less of a problem since that file is made readable for root only.

Do what giganerd suggested.
Better yet if you don't like Eddie App switch to native OpenVPN.
