AirVPN (Eddie-UI) on NVIDIA Shield TV with Netflix

I want to use AirVPN on my Shield but I can't connect to Netflix with it on, is there a way to exclude the Netflix app from using the VPN?

Also, would using the VPN on there affect gamestream or my Plex NAS?

I plan to buy a new router and use AirVPN on it with OpenVPN to put all the network traffic in my house through a VPN, could the same thing be done with that configuration?
