seedyunder 1 Posted ... Hi! Having a strange issue I could use some help with. I have a media server that is connected through Gigabit Ethernet to my router VPN OFF : it connects at full speed and the router ui shows the wired connection is "1000 Mbps" VPN ON : initially it connects at fast speeds, correctly through the vpn, but after 10-20 minutes it starts getting capped at 100Mbps and the router ui shows wired connection is "100 Mbps" If I then switch VPN OFF the speed continues to be capped at 100Mbps until I reboot the router. In windows the TAP adapter "status" show speed is "100 Mbps" Does this "100 Mbps" status mean anything ? Is it possible the TAP connection is reporting to the router that it is "100 Mbps" and the router sets it accordingly ? Thanks for any help Quote Share this post Link to post

OpenSourcerer 1445 Posted ... Wow, I was beginning to wonder where they put this list as it wasn't on swupdate.openvpn.net anymore. Thank you for the link! Marty Bunder52 0 Posted ... I have exact the same problem. I un-installed tap 9.21.2, re-installed 9.22.1 resetted my router, but tap9 is still showing 100mbpshence very slow system responce. Switch of AirVpn, and I'm back to normal speed / system responce. Quote Share this post Link to post
