utorrent / connection stops working

Hi everybody,

I'm having a problem with my VPN account.

As long as I connect to the service and browse the internet, use thunderbird or directly download files from the net everything works fine.

The problem comes out as soon as i start downloading something using utorrent: the download starts, but after 10 seconds it drops, and the rest of my internet services (browsing, email, etc) stop working too: as soon as I disconnect from the VPN everything goes back to normal.

I set up the port for utorrent as described here, using port forwarding, and i set up the Comodo firewall too, according to the instructions, in order to prevent dns leak.

COuld you help me somehow finding out what the problem could be?

Hey! ( My personal Experience)

My first day on this service I had the same problem. I was using TCP ports and my internet connection ( after heavy loads ) would just stop all together, so what I did was switch from TCP to UDP Ports. I also use OpenVPN and not the AIRvpn Client, switching might help you too.

However, if you're using UDP Ports and are getting disconnected try using TCP instead and see if that helps. If not then wait for an admin response, admins are usually pretty fast to reply.

Thank you very much for your answer!

I tried connecting manually though OpenVPN, as you said, selecting tcp first, and udp now: both times i checked whether the vpn was working, and it doesn't. My IP is still my usual one, even if the program says I'm connected to the VPN. That's even worse than before, since at least the VPN service itself worked with the airVPN client!

I hope I can get through this, since this looks like a good service to me too
