Ralegend 0 Posted ... Hi.I successfully connect my router to the AirVPN server with DD-WRT. The problem is when I try to connect two or more devices at the same time to that router; only one connects to the internet. Others can not. Is this normal? Thank you for your help. NLVPN 0 Posted ... Hi. I solved the issue. But the speed is low. I have 30mbps internet, but with the dd-wrt OpenVPN, the speed is only 11mbps. As far as I know openvpn uses AES encryption and that takes a lot of power, if your router hasn't got a powerful CPU that can handle AES-NI instructions you will not get maximum performance. I went from a Netgear R7000 to a Asus RT-AC86U, the Asus has a processor that has the power to do AES on the fly (AES-NI) and that makes a world of difference. Quote Share this post Link to post
