dellawee 13 Posted ... Would it be possible to make the DDNS linked to a device/key? So I could create a new device/key lets say "Desktop" and when setting DDNS I select that profile so even if I connect more devices it would still be linked to that device? I was using a free DDNS service (https://freedns.afraid.org/) but they delete your account if you haven't logged in for a while (using the DDNS update api doesn't count as a login). I'd love to use the air provided DDNS option but currently unavailable because it can't distinguish between devices logged in. I'd also not need to put extra stuff on the device which would be nice 2 User of AirVPN and oligarch reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
asr2999 3 Posted ... I agree, it would be nice to manage a bit more what you do per device/key, both for port forwarding and DDNS. 3 nick75, oligarch and User of AirVPN reacted to this Quote Share this post Link to post
zombie1982 5 Posted ... Agree...I alway need to reconnect if a new connection is overwriting existing ddns IP. Its annoying Quote Share this post Link to post
OpenSourcerer 1435 Posted ... I can't help you with the DDNS "profiles" on AirVPN, but I can with the login necessity of afraid.org. Please do check with NSUpdate for an open-source, free-to-use, bullshit-free DDNS provider. You can even add your own domains. 1 zombie1982 reacted to this Quote Hide OpenSourcerer's signature Hide all signatures NOT AN AIRVPN TEAM MEMBER. USE TICKETS FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT.
