ANSWERED OpenVPN not found..

Hi!

I have problems connecting to servers using Eddie.  Eddie connects just fine when it is newly installed, but when I restart my pc or start it up the next day, It just times out trying to connect. When I then restart eddie and try to connect to a server, I get the error message "openvpn not found". This message always appear until I reinstall Eddie. 

 

I have tried both 2.13 and 2.14, and reinstalled tap driver. Same result.

 

Eddie has worked flawlessly for me until I first got this message a week ago. What am I doing wrong? How do I fix this?

Only thing I can think of is your Antivirus solution quarantining the openvpn.exe that comes with Eddie. Do you use Windows Defender or something else? Find out whether your antivirus program is indeed wrongly detecting openvpn.exe as harmful.

You are right. It was my antivirus. I checked it at first, but apparently not in the right place.. Thanks helping out
