phasee 0 Posted ... Just recently started having issues, I have a raspberry pi running openVPN, which has a config connecting to North American AirVPN servers. I have my laptop and my TV using the Pi as a gateway. I am getting less than 1MB/s download speeds when I test with speedtest. The issue doesn't seem to be with my internet connection, as I get my full speed when connecting directly to my router. Anyone having issues? Or have a solution to this problem? Thanks! phasee 0 Posted ... What's the last package you installed? I haven't installed anything but OpenVPN. Upon further inspection, it seems like it may be a DNS issue. I am currently using the google DNS servers. When I try to ping them from the RPi, I get nothing. Quote Share this post Link to post
k0lovratok 5 Posted ... Your speed with OpenVPN connected is as it should be. RaspberryPi isn't strong enough to deliver higher speed.Read this article : https://www.hackviking.com/single-board-computers/openvpn-performance-on-the-pi/ Quote Share this post Link to post
