Eddie client and openvpn option confit

Hi all,

I usually use the vpn in this way:

openvpn --config /path-to-vpn --writepid /var/run/openvpn.pid

I want to start to use Eddie client, but I want to add "the option "--writepid /var/run/openvpn.pid" for my notification desktop (i use i3wm with i3status).

Is it possible to do that?
