Hi all,I have been using Eddie since release.I guess I really should know this already. On Eddies server screen I understand the Latency/ping value and also the load. How do I read the speed ie, 263/1000 Mbits/s ? I figure a higher figure is better what I'm unclear on is the /1000 number. Quote Share this post Link to post

This means that the server is currently using 263 out of maximum 1000 Mbit/s.Generally, you would like to use the best available server in terms of latencyand available bandwidth, and Eddie recommends automatically best availableservers in each country, according to some other metrics. 1 snaggle reacted to this Quote Hide zhang888's signature Hide all signatures Occasional moderator, sometimes BOFH. Hi Zhang888,Thanks for the response.Ok so my assumption of a higher number preceding the /1000 is wrong!!For me its a trade off between speed and number of users, hiding in a crowd, obviously the bigger the crowd the better but the bigger the crowd the more the load.Thankfully Eddie provides all the relevant data so we can make informed choices.
