Should I have VPN always on

I was wondering if I should have a VPN always on in my house, so any device connected to the internet is being ran through VPN.

 

If the answer is yes, what is the easiest way to achieve this ?

 

I current;y have a outer BT HOME HUB 5 and assume you can't use this (settings don't appear to be there) so i'd need an alternative method

Your router, I dont know anything about BT HOME but i recommend building your own pfsense box

The home hub is very locked down and limited to what you can do with it. Last time I looked at one the DNS servers could not be changed! Best off getting a different router that has a vpn option.
