musicbrainz.org NOOOO!

I can't find any posts about doing it or find anything on the site justifying it, but musicbrainz.org is unreachable.... which means their handy music tagger Picard is unable to download data as well.

Found this thread via Google as I just started having the same issue with Musicbrainz.org: I am using an MP3 Tag Editor (mp3tag.de) which has the ability to fetch metadata via Musicbrainz API. Everytime I am connected via AirVPN, fetching the data leads to a a timeout in the application. Tried US based servers, Germany and also Switzerland. When I am not using AirVPN, connecting and fetching data works as expected.

The same applies for the website itself: musicbrainz.org is not accessible via the server countries mentioned above (possibly others too).

I ended up contacting musicbrainz and asking them directly to whitelist the server I was using. Periodically, they will implement a new IP blocklist and airvpn servers regularly end up on them, so you'll either have to contact them again or simply change airvpn servers until you find one that connects.
