AirVPN+Torrenting makes internet connection stop

Hi,

 

when not conneced to AirVPN, torrenting and using the internet works normally

 

Once connected to AirVPN, torrenting ranges from 0-100kb/s, it usually goes up, then goes back down to 0. when this happens the whole internet connection (not only the torrent) stops. it then goes back to 100kb/s and repeats itself

 

I forwarded a port and use the port number in my torrent client. Wether i use the forwarded port or not does not make a difference though

 

Help/suggestions?
